My clients experience me as warm, compassionate and trustworthy person who demonstrates a genuine desire to help. I believe when a person feels safe and understood they are able to explore their feelings, challenge their thinking and make positive changes to improve their quality of life. I offer my clients 20 plus years of experience and thoroughly enjoy my work. I consider it an honor to enter into the journey of healing with my clients and I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out for help. I provide individual, group and couples counseling. Many of my clients are impaired professionals and survivors of abuse who struggle with shame, grief, depression, mood swings, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, relationship difficulties, anger issues, stress, isolation and spiritual deprivation.

I am a Christian and therefore believe in the healing power of the Holy Spirit. I believe that He is the Comforter and Healer according to Scripture . Many of my clients are leaders in the church. It can be overwhelming and lonely for a Pastor and those in leadership and their family when struggling with personal issues.
I respect everyone individual's beliefs therefore I reserve the use of prayer and Scripture as part of the counseling process for those who desire this spiritual approach to healing. I see both Christians and non-Christians in my practice. I am highly trained in the use of traditional best practices as well as trained in Biblical Counseling.
