My Approach to Helping

I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFT) that helps with marriages in distress, relationship issues such as: divorce, separation, infidelity, parenting and/or communication issues. Couples can expect an increase in communication, repair conflicts faster and build a stronger bond with each other. The sooner the problem is addressed the easier it will be to fix.

My role as a therapist is not of an expert, but to guide you through difficult times and help you feel safe and secure which allows for progress, improvement and growth.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
It's perfectly normal to go back and forth with the idea of therapy since you have to discuss your private and personal information to a complete stranger. This is actually the first step of the therapy process, if you are not sure I welcome you to reach out to me and share your fears or concerns and I will try to address them as best as I can. Remember you are the expert of your life, as a therapist I am here to listen and offer support and hopefully help you feel better in the process.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
The media has portrayed people that seek therapy as being crazy and weak. Most people seek therapy because an event has happened in their life that brings them down and need guidance to help uncover their own resources to helping them feel happy again. Being aware that something is wrong is a huge strength. Sometimes talking to friends and family can help, but there are times when you dont want to burden them. Therapy can help you expand on your strengths and help you feel better again.
