My Approach to Helping
Society is filled with messages about how our lives should look and feel, and when we fall short we often blame ourselves, leading to sadness and despair. I work with clients to uncover their own strengths, and to regain power over the areas of life that feel overwhelming or out of control. My approach to treatment is evidence-based while being affirming and non-stigmatizing. I am deeply committed to practicing anti-oppressive approaches to psychotherapy.

I offer individual therapy, and am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT and have experience with multiple effective modalities. I have worked in education, and have extensive experience helping manage workschool challenges associated with both diagnosed and undiagnosed learning differences and challenges. PLEASE NOTE: I only accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance.
