My Approach to Helping
Our lives are incredibly demanding, full, and busy - all the more reason to devote dedicated time to nurture yourself. Any individual can benefit from therapy if they are courageous enough to seek help and engage in the process. I primarily provide counseling to adults and adolescents. I offer both short and long term therapy, depending on the goals of the client. In addition to reaping the rewards of counseling, walk and talk therapy offers the health benefits of physical activity and nature. This is an optional modality that can be adopted at any point during treatment.
I am client-centered and tailor treatment to each individual by pulling from various theoretical frameworks. I work from a holistic wellness model that attends to physical, emotional, intellectual, occupational, social, and spiritual health. My style tends to be fairly informal - clients describe me as kind, caring, genuine, and authentic.
