My Approach to Helping
I understand that starting counseling is not easy. Chances are that you’ve tried it before, or that things currently feel like they’re too much to handle. You don’t have to do this alone. My goal is to help you reach YOUR goals. Topics may include self-esteem and worth, coping skills, psych-Ed, mood regulation, couple counseling, anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsion (OCD), daily stressors, affair recovery, posttraumatic stress (PTSD) resolution, sexual dysfunction, support for LBGTQA+ or ethically non-monogamous (ENM) lifestyle, military life challenges, grief, and more. I support all beliefs and will gladly incorporate yours into sessions if that is your wish. Each appointment is truly for YOU!
I offer an honest and integrated approach when it comes to therapy. No one person is exactly alike, and a therapy plan doesn’t need to be either. I have specialty certifications for PTSD trauma treatments that are incredibly effective and also non-triggering. My office is judgment-free in every way, my hope is to provide a truly safe space for ALL people.
Counseling can look like what you need it to, and it can be what you need it to be. It is important that you find the right fit and feel comfortable with the therapist you choose.
