My Approach to Helping
Therapy is not only for people who are experiencing serious mental or behavioral issues but also for work life balance, moments of distress, learning better problem solving skills, co parenting issues and more. I believe that learning how to understand yourself and sort out various views and thoughts can significantly improve our health and lives.
I practice with a client-centered approach which refers to a counseling perspective where the client must make the choices which affect their lives. I believe that people are autonomous decision makers. My role is to support the client so they can make the best decisions possible, and not make decisions based on fear or for them.
