My Approach to Helping
I provide caring, supportive therapy for adults, couples, adolescents, children and families. I help individuals age 12 and up and families to cope with stress, anger, life transitions, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.
I specialize in family and couples' therapy for a wide range of relationship and parenting concerns. Even if you attend therapy by yourself, understanding your family dynamics is often the key to feeling better and improving current relationships.
I teach many skills to improve coping, communication and behavior. We'll break down your goals into manageable steps, so you can begin to see meaningful changes quickly. I will help you to understand emotional issues that may be blocking you from moving forward.
I hope you'll contact me to discuss your goals and needs.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love finding the strengths, resilience and (sometimes hidden) talents in my clients. My clients inspire me with their courage, humor and determination to have a better life!
Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
You must feel safe, accepted and free to give or respond to feedback. My style is very calm and accepting. I will challenge you to take small steps toward your goals. I encourage you to express your emotions in the therapy process. This is how we both learn about what you need in your interpersonal relationships.
