Symptoms - such as anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles - often show up to tell us that our way of coping in life is no longer working well for us. I believe that good therapy provides not just relief, but also understanding. Why am I struggling? How did I get to this place? How can I grow so that I don't end up here again?
I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to help them understand the roots of their current difficulties and to make changes at a deep level. But I also help them to identify and affirm their own strengths. Individual strengths, as well as the genuine support of friends, family, and community can be central to growth and healing. Quality therapy can help you move beyond surviving and into a place of thriving.
