My Approach to Helping
Worry, distress, and sadness don’t have to rule your life. What you really want is to feel self-confident, empowered, and at peace. You want to gain a sense of control.I can help you gain a deeper understanding of what is causing your distress and what to do about it. I specialize in working with women on issues of self-worth, anxiety, social anxiety, mood issues, and grief.
I approach therapy by addressing both your current symptoms and your past experiences. I will give you ways to cope currently but also work to build connections to past events that created the issue in the first place. Together, we will work to heal those past wounds. I have specialized training in trauma (EMDR).
