My Approach to Helping
I have over 25 years experience working in mental health -- and compassionately help people through the challenges in their lives; depression, anxiety, relationship issues, painful emotions, disappointments, trauma, griefloss, family problems and life transitions.
My approach is personable and thoughtful. I will work with you to help decrease the distressing symptoms and circumstances you are experiencing -- while also addressing the underlying source(s) of your problems. The goal is to feel better and make changes that will enhance your life.
Some of my clinical experience, aside from working in Private Practice, includes eight years at NY Hospital-Cornell-Westchester (inpatient treatment of personality and mood disorders), Individual and Family Therapy at Outpatient Treatment Centers in Manhattan and the Bronx, and Group Facilitation at Bedford Prison.
