My Approach to Helping
Do you feel lost or confused at times about your feelings, thoughts, and relationships? We each have a resilient spirit within us and therapy can support us with accessing our deepest emotions, knowing ourselves better than before, and walking our path with a stronger sense of self. I believe in being person-centered, creating a safe space, and personalizing an integrative approach to help with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship dynamics, and existential exploration. I draw upon mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and attachment-based therapy. I am also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) which further ties together the mind-body connection in the healing process.
