My Approach to Helping
Retaining our sense of self in relationship is one of the hardest things to do. How do we manage the balance between being open and intimate with others without losing ourselves? So often, we feel capable in all areas of our life except relationships. I can help you figure out why and how to have meaningful relationships.
I have a Master's in Counseling Psychology and I work with couples, adolescents, and adults. I can help point the way out of the difficulties you are experiencing, helping you remain true to yourself.
In addition to couples or relationship therapy, I work with sexual trauma, both the PTSD symptoms and the impact of trauma on your day-to-day life. Whether you are working to overcome childhood abuse or a shock trauma, I am able to work with you to stop blaming yourself, overcome the pain, and learn to trust yourself again.
