My Approach to Helping

I use an integrative approach, which includes cognitive behavioral, client-centered and solution-focused techniques. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship needs to exist between counselor and client in order to create the most effective counseling experience. I work on creating this relationship with each of my clients by providing a positive and safe environment with trust, empathy, and honesty. I support my clients but often challenge them in order to help achieve success with goals. I make every effort to help clients to find a healthy life balance; emotionally, physically, and mentally.
