My Approach to Helping

Are you worried about your child or adolescent? Are you feeling frustrated by trying to help the situation without seeing the results you expect? Aloha and a warm welcome. I'm Dr. Kyle Good and I specialize in treating children and adolescents who are struggling with depression, relationship conflicts, substance abuse, poor self-confidence, anger issues, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, self-mutilation, excessive video gaming, school difficulties, and many other challenges.
I am a former, awarding-winning principal and nationally-recognized teacher. Combining this experience with being a Ph.D. Psychotherapist, I have a strong, 30-year track record in helping children and adolescents work through their difficulties and challenges while supporting you, their parent, through the process.
I'm a compassionate, caring, no-nonsense Licensed Mental Health Counselor whose life-work is dedicated to helping children and adolescents work through internal conflicts that often get in the way of being able to promote their own growth. I want to understand your worries and concerns so that I may help. Call me or email me.

More Info About My Practice

Does your child fight you about everything, or refuse to do even the smallest tasks?

Parenting is one of the world's hardest jobs, and some children and teens are difficult to parent. When it comes to helping your children, you are on the front line. You know them best and love them the most. So of course you want to help them overcome the problems they face.

Sometimes your child needs more than you can provide, though. Just as a doctor can address a broken bone or a dentist can deal with a cavity, a therapist can help when your child's feelings are expressed in negative ways.
Professional help works, and is available. I offer customized child and adolescent therapy based upon current research. During our parent consultation meetings, I work directly with you to understand your concerns in the context of your child and family. As I work individually with your child, I pair your knowledge of your child and family with my expertise in child and adolescent development.

I want to understand your worries and concerns so that I may help. Call or email me.
