My Approach to Helping
You may have been considering going to counseling for some time, but don't know who to speak to or even maybe what to talk about. Or perhaps you're facing an unexpected stress in your life. Either way, my goal is to be there to help and so that you don't have to face things alone. When working with you it is my focus to tailor my approach to each individual client and situation, creating a client-centered experience. My goal is to help you live your best life.
Over the last ten years, I have cultivated training and experience to help a wide variety of issues: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship problems, and substance use and abuse. I earned my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler University in Chicago. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs in the Chicagoland area.
I have extensive experience working with children, families, couples, and adults. My special interest-and the area in which I have worked most extensively-focuses on individuals struggling with substance use disorders. I am available evenings & weekends. I am able to fit individuals into my schedule quickly who are in need of an urgent appointment.
