My Approach to Helping
Making it through school and figuring out “adulting” can be stressful, full of uncertainty and self-exploration. The first time my clients come to see me, there's often a lot of discouragement and a lack of self-love. That's why I provide a positive therapy experience to empower them through guidance and encouragement. I am a trustworthy and warm person for my clients to turn to as they begin to find themselves and move forward with their journeys.
More Info About My Practice
I enjoy working with college students and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I'm also a huge animal lover and I have a lot of experience working with them. In undergrad and grad school, I did a lot of research about how animals make us feel better. Animals can help both physical and mental health. They provide a sense of security and companionship, decrease stress levels, and encourage mood boosts. I encourage clients to bring pets into sessions.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Starting therapy for the first time or with someone new can always feel overwhelming. I am here for you and will guide you through this process at your own pace. The first few sessions will really be just us getting to know each other and focusing on how we can achieve your goals today. Therapy can feel slow at first, but with my guidance and your determination, the end results can feel amazing.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Going to therapy means quite the opposite. It means you are strong, powerful, and are determined to overcome challenges. Therapy is about bettering yourself and having guidance while you go through these sometimes uncomfortable challenges or changes. I am here to support you.
