My Approach to Helping
Kimberly Stapert is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University in 1997. Since then, Kimberly has worked with teens, adults, families, and couples in a variety of clinical settings. She strives to build authentic client relationships, founded in unconditional positive regard, in order to facilitate holistic growth and healing. Kimberly has counseled culturally diverse populations and embraces principles of inclusion, which informs her ability to build relationships with persons from all walks of life and varied experiences. She has worked extensively with clients who are dealing with trauma, mood disorders, relationship conflicts, family of origin issues, and life crises related to identity (especially racesexual orientationgender identity). Her therapeutic interventions are eclectic, strengths-based and person-centered, empowering clients to meet their uniquely identified goals.
