My Approach to Helping
I have over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field serving adults, teens, families, and couples. My clinical experience has focused on crisis intervention, trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-esteem, relationship issues, and life transitions. I utilize an integrative, strength-based, holistic, approach to helping others reach their personal goals and enhance resilience. I use holistic approaches along with narrative therapy, expressive art, CBT, positive therapy, and solution-focused therapy when working with clients.
Life is a series of transitions, some we welcome and others we do not. Each life transition offers an opportunity for self-discovery, growth, and change. At times working through life transitions can cause distress. I am passionate about inspiring and encouraging others to create the best life that brings balance and new beginnings.
I can assist with developing the coping skills you need to maintain your focus on what is important to you and move successfully through these transitional periods. I am passionate about life issues related to self-esteem, personal identity, work-balance, self-awareness, and relationships.
I provide therapy to assist individuals, adolescents, and couples with discovering their strengths and using their strengths to uncover the solutions to the issues that bring you to therapy.
