My Approach to Helping
If you’re here, chances are you’ve been carrying something heavy—maybe for a long time. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, unsure of what you need, or perhaps you’re just tired of trying to figure it all out on your own. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know: you're not alone, and there is a way forward.
I believe deeply in a person-centered approach, which means I see you as the expert of your own experience. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your own strengths, insight, and resilience—even if you’re not sure those exist right now. Together, we’ll create a safe and collaborative space where your thoughts, emotions, and experiences can be understood without judgment.
In our work, I often draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a practical and evidence-based method that can help you recognize and shift unhelpful patterns in thinking and behavior. At the same time, I bring a generalist perspective, which allows me to adapt to your unique needs using a range of therapeutic modalities. This flexibility is especially helpful when addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns—from depression and anxiety to schizophrenia, trauma-related challenges, and more.
Whether you're facing something acute or navigating a long-standing issue, therapy is a place where healing and growth can happen. My goal is to support you in building from the strengths you already hold and helping you move toward greater clarity, stability, and connection—with yourself and with others.
