My Approach to Helping
I have worked in the human services field for 14 years in various settings, including inpatient, intensive outpatient, private practice, community, and school settings. I work with people with multiple needs, including mood disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, life transitions, personality disorders, and relationship issues. I also hold specialty certifications in addictions and trauma. I have a person-centered and culturally sensitive approach and utilize therapeutic techniques tailored to each person’s needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectal behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and hypnosis. I look forward to developing a collaborative relationship with you to build upon your strengths and work toward improving your quality of life.
