Are you feeling stuck with regard to your intimate relationship, family relationships, work relationships, friendships, your spiritual relationship, your relationship to substances, or your relationship with yourself? That means you're perfectly human! I recognize that goodness/wholeness exists in everyone, so my goal is to help you reconnect with your true self to access the health, happiness, connection, and integration that is your birthright as a human being. As relational creatures, we are so very shaped by relationships of all kinds, but growth is available through relationship as well. In therapy, I will work collaboratively with you to clarify your personal needs/wants/goals and help you access your own wisdom by touching into your felt experience in the present. I value the real, and I am passionate about supporting others on their journey to more fulfilling lives and relationships.

More Info About My Practice

As a professional trained in couples, marriage, and family therapy, I work with both individuals and couples from a relationship-focused lens. I use an integrated, systemic approach to counseling that draws primarily from existential humanism, emotionally focused therapy, internal family systems, psychodynamics, and structural theory. Because I value the human experience and each person's innate worth and wisdom, I work dynamically and collaboratively with couples and individual adults on their paths toward personal and relationship fulfillment. It is my goal to help to bring awareness of how old habits and patterns of interaction may be interfering with what's happening for you in the present.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I enjoy working with individuals who have the courage to seek support with relationship issues, career/life transitions, self-esteem/worth, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, addiction, sexuality, gender identity, spirituality, search for meaning, and general stuckness. The common issues couples face that I can help with in couples counseling include communication, betrayal/infidelity, sex/intimacy, life transitions, addiction, premarital counseling, and divorce/separation.
