My Approach to Helping
Hello. Thank you for being here and taking the step towards finding the right therapist for you. I believe in the healing power of support; emotionally, mentally, spiritually and within the physical body. These are especially wild times in the world, together we can unpack what's alive for you and ways to support your every day life. I work with adults, teens and children, all within a somatic or body centered framework.
More Info About My Practice
I like to think a curious mind much like a child's, is one of the most wonderful approaches we can take in our lives; I invite this element of play and an open heart, in all of my sessions. I blend together my knowledge and experience as a Somatic Psychotherapist, Dance-Movement Therapist, and Yoga Therapist, in order to provide the best body-based therapy experience for your healing experience.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
One of the many things I love about being a Psychotherapist, is the honor and privilege I have in building new relationships with individuals who are open to personal growth, heightened awareness, and the powerful potential for transformative change.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself (or your child) is a place and space to explore what's really going on within the inside; beginning therapy may be one of the most courageous things you could do during your life.
The word courage comes from the Latin word "cor" meaning heart; the word courage originally meant, to tell one's story or speak one's mind by sharing one's heart. Therapy requires a courageous heart; so we both know already, you are full of courage.
