My Approach to Helping

I believe all individuals have their own strengths, our work together is to figure out what helps you to grow and live the life you desire. Art, mindfulness and visual meditations are all aspects of my practice as a way for individuals to find a space that feels safe and comfortable to continue discovering their own answers. I will support your journey to self-discovery allowing you to have a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.

I have a passion for working with women transitioning into motherhood, as well as seasoned mothers seeking support navigating the twists and turns of daily life. I also specialize in working with kids and teens needing a space to tell their own stories and receive guidance in finding their voice and confidence to shine in life.

Do you notice your child yearning for new tools in their box when it comes to navigating relationships? Or perhaps you notice they are struggling with impulse control, emotional outbursts or feel overwhelmed with worries. I am here to help empower them (and you!) with the tools they need to thrive.

My creative approach can be beneficial in helping individuals facing a multitude of challenges. Together, we will craft sessions that are right for you & your healing process. I look forward to meeting you.

More Info About My Practice

As an art therapist, I help guide your healing and self-discovery using art materials allowing thoughts and feelings to move as you dialogue with your inner canvas through painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture helping to give the image to what the experience feels and looks like in your body. The art becomes a physical representation of your thoughts and feelings allowing for further reflection upon what seems to be working and not working in your current life situation. I also offer online services including intentionally crafted art based tool kits to support your journey.

My Therapy Focus

My creative approach can be beneficial in helping individuals facing challenges including:

social skills
emotional and behavioral challenges
adjustment issues
children of divorce or separation
personal growth
prepostnatal emotional needs
parenting skills; emotion coaching & healthy attachment

I most enjoy working with clients who are open to indulging in the creative process and supporting their wellbeing with natural solutions honing in on self-care rituals and the many ways we care for our bodies everyday from movement to nourishment. I work within a wellness model recommending collaboration with Naturopathic Doctors, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Nutritionists, Massage Therapists, and other holistic practitioners who also believe healing begins from within.
