My Approach to Helping
I am a believer that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all interact with each other to produce either healthy or unhealthy patterns in our lives. Add to that stressors big or small and you may find yourself in need of extra assistance to live your best life. I believe that it is most important to focus on what is affecting you presently and to address the past if it impacts the present. I draw a lot from CBT and DBT- informed approaches to help my clients with things like anxiety and depression. I also enjoy providing psychoeducation and therapeutic play to help kids address issues such as Autism and ADHD.
