My Approach to Helping
I offer strategies and tools for teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-harming behavior, and trauma. My highest aim as your therapist is to co-create a lasting and genuine healing relationship, one where you feel supported to express yourself authentically and make the changes necessary in your life to live, love and work wholeheartedly. My warm, genuine and practical approach allows us to move through difficult times and gain clarity about yourself and your relationships . All are welcome in my office and I see clients from 13 on up.
I integrate several approaches in order to provide effective therapy. Including Hakomi (a mindfulness based psychotherapy), CBT, Psychodynamic, EMDR, and a trauma informed approach. The emphasis of therapy is on bringing more awareness to the areas of your life where you are stuck, confused or out of balance.
Through studying your experiences and gaining insight into your psychological landscape, you will develop your emotional skill set and greatly increase your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
