My Approach to Helping
Being all you can be sometimes requires a little assistance. Whether you are in a crisis or just looking for guidance with a life decision, counseling may be helpful. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am also a Registered Play Therapist and a Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Using a strength based approach I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. The focus is on building on what is working and reducing issues that have become problematic.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
Psychotherapy is about helping someone grow, develop and become their best self. Regardless of a person's age I believe they have the potential to achieve their goals and reach for happiness. It is an amazing process to participate in with another person.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Everyone runs into situations or life circumstances which feel overwhelming. Life does not come with a guide, so counseling can help. It takes great courage to face life questions and address behavioral issues which are no longer working for us.
