My Approach to Helping

I offer holistic therapy and utilize a strength-based approach to treatment. We each bring our own perceptions of the world to therapy, as we are all influenced by our families, society, biology, and culture. I partner with my clients to promote insight, awareness, and empowerment, which are key components in facilitating change and healing.

I assess and work with individuals and families to determine what style of therapy would be most beneficial based on their need. I am oriented in psychodynamic, interpersonal, developmental and solution focused approaches. I use these and other therapeutic approaches as appropriate in treatment, such as TF-CBT, CBT, art therapy, mindfulness, family systems, communication and problem solving skills, parenting skills, and behavior modification.
