My Approach to Helping
You are not alone when you connect with a skilled, caring therapist. At times, we all need help and support to make sense of life and learn how to thrive in a complicated world. I want to help you find a sense of clarity, balance, and purpose so that you can overcome negative patterns in your life. When you feel heard and respected in a nonjudgmental environment, you can feel free to explore your problems, feelings, and strengths.
I value confidentiality, compassion, and the individuality of those I work with. True healing occurs based on a strong and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, combined with a specific treatment plan designed to help you reach your goals. I use a holistic approach, helping you navigate your concerns so that you can honor the past, yet live in the present and move forward in life. In addition to using more traditional talk therapy, I can also work with you using art therapy and creative expression, as well as trauma resolution therapy.
I love what I do as therapist and am honored to work with people of all ages. I feel that being genuine and trustworthy are the most important aspects of my work and my life. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and I am continually learning and working to be helpful to my clients.
