Back to Biblical times, it has always been easy to "Poison The Well" or "Maliciously Lie" to hurt people. We cannot change this. We are called to act properly, even when others don't.

I help clients understand that life doesn't guarantee us anything, other than the chance to learn from our perceived failures, while finding the necessary forgiveness and resolve to those things that go bump in the night.

I believe in 5 core principles that will help you find a solid resolution to your personal tragedy: 1. Personal Growth, 2. Personal Responsibility and Accountability, 3.Truthful and Direct Communication and 4. Personal Renewal.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

My therapy style is both responsive and affirming. This allows clients of all ages to respond with ease to new behavior changes I design for them and their families. As a parent myself, I am able to walk alongside parents who are struggling to find effective ways to parent children experiencing difficult circumstances.

My sessions are tranquil, driven by a strong belief that cultivating comfort and safety will best foster the environment I think, my clients need to implement the positive change they seek.
And, yes, there is homework! I highly values therapeutic assignments outside the therapy environment to enhance the results of actual time spent with patients.

I am a spiritually-motivated, goal-oriented therapist. A committed Christian, and help guide my clients toward the restoration of new purpose with peace and grace.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

While it may not be easy to seek help from a mental health professional, it is hoped that you will be better to understand your situation and feelings and move toward resolving the difficulties which prompted you to seek professional assistance. The therapist, using his or her knowledge of human development and behavior, will make observations about situations as well as suggestion for new ways to approach them. it will be important for you to explore your own feelings and thoughts and try new approaches in order for change to occur. You may bring other family members to a therapy session if you feel it would be helpful or, if this is recommended.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

Risks Of Therapy.
Therapy is the Greek word for change. And you may learn things about yourself that you don't care for.

Often, growth cannot occur until you experience and confront issues that induce you to feel sadness, sorrow, anxiety, or pain. One might hope this would balance out with the discovery of joy, relief and freedom, as well. The success of our work together depends on the quality of your effort and the realization that you are responsible for lifestyle choices or changes that may result from therapy. Specifically, one risk of marital therapy is the possibility of exercising the divorce option. One risk of individual therapy is the possibility of developing a habit of overanalyzing yourself.
