My Approach to Helping
Each of us faces challenges in life. Sometimes those challenges arise from what is currently happening for us and sometimes they show up from the pain or trauma that we have experienced in the past. I offer a safe place where you can explore those struggles and identify changes you might like to make in your life as you grow in self-awareness and work towards your personal goals. This includes offering guidance in determining ways to increase general well-being, providing coping skills, and assisting with identifying ways for living that more closely align with your personal goals.
We will work together as you explore issues that affect quality of life and relationships. This can include offering supportive help with depression, anxiety, communication with others, grief, loss, major life transitions, changes in health or your personal life, or working towards overcoming past or current struggles or traumas. We will find ways to move through whatever difficulties you are currently experiencing and will work towards overcoming your personal challenges.
My approach comes from a place of warmth, understanding, compassion, practicality, and non-judgment to support you as you make the positive changes you desire for yourself.
