My approach to therapy begins with relationship. We are relational beings and can be hurt and healed within the context of relationships. In our time together, I will first seek to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship with you so that we are well equipped to confront the difficulties you are currently experiencing. Perhaps you are feeling tired and run down. Or the unpredictability of life has you overwhelmed and anxious. Maybe you're replaying the same negative thoughts or engaging in unhealthy behaviors. These concerns can be addressed and you don't need to do it alone.

Therapy is a partnership between the two of us. Once trust is established, we will be more successful at unpacking whatever it is that you bring to therapy. Your strengths, skills, and commitment, combined with my therapeutic approach and training will ground us as you move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

More Info About My Practice

Because relationship is so important when looking for a therapist, I offer a free phone consultation to ensure we are a good fit. If we decide someone else would better fit your current needs, I have local counselors I refer to that I hope you consider.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in supporting those struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges. Additionally, I work with individuals experiencing infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy/postpartum, and perinatal mood concerns.

My Therapy Focus

I strongly believe we were created to live in community with others. When we experience healthy, trusting relationships with people around us, amazing things begin to happen. Therapy is just adding another relationship to the mix. It can be so helpful to gain insight, perspective, and assurance from someone outside your immediate social environment.

I see my role as someone who is here to support your goals, both short and long-term. You may be desiring personal change, relief from pain, or begin the process of confronting past wounds. It is a privilege to be part of your story and create an environment in which you may begin to heal.
