My Approach to Helping
*YOGA & MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT* Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, work issues, or difficulty adjusting to life's transitions, I believe an integrative approach involving counseling and yoga can help you. In my private practice, Root to Rise Counseling, I provide compassionate and empirically-supported care rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Yoga. These practices are goal-oriented, actively focused on the present moment, and effective in helping you to understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, body, and behavior.
Creating a shift in your wellness is a difficult decision to make, and I hope to make it feel easier for you. I will meet you where you're at; all you have to do is show up. I'm committed to helping you create a long-lasting tool to not only heal your mind and body, but to maintain your wellness once it's achieved. For adults, couples, teens, and groups: options are available for traditional talk therapy sessions, therapy+yoga sessions, and group therapy sessions. In addition to therapy sessions, I also offer Yoga for Mental Health Workshops and a monthly Postpartum & Motherhood Support Group.
Root to Rise Counseling is a private mental health counseling practice that works in a wellness collective alongside a team of compassionate, holistic providers. We can provide our clients with referrals for counseling, coaching, behavior analysis, acupuncture, massage therapy, and yoga.
