My Approach to Helping

*YOGA & MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT* Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, work issues, or difficulty adjusting to life's transitions, I believe an integrative approach involving counseling and yoga can help you. In my private practice, Root to Rise Counseling, I provide compassionate and empirically-supported care rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Yoga. These practices are goal-oriented, actively focused on the present moment, and effective in helping you to understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, body, and behavior.

Creating a shift in your wellness is a difficult decision to make, and I hope to make it feel easier for you. I will meet you where you're at; all you have to do is show up. I'm committed to helping you create a long-lasting tool to not only heal your mind and body, but to maintain your wellness once it's achieved. Somewhere, deep down, you already have the ability to heal yourself and grow. Let me help you find it and keep it.

For adults, couples, teens, and groups: options are available for traditional talk therapy sessions, therapy+yoga sessions, and group therapy sessions. In addition to therapy sessions, I also offer Yoga for Mental Health Workshops and a monthly Postpartum & Motherhood Support Group.

Root to Rise Counseling is a private mental health counseling practice that works in a wellness collective alongside a team of compassionate, holistic providers. We can provide our clients with referrals for counseling, coaching, behavior analysis, acupuncture, massage therapy, and yoga.
