My Approach to Helping
Every woman deserves a confidential, accepting, and safe place to focus on herself and learn self-care. Women frequently turn their attention toward taking care of everyone else, leaving them feeling overwhelmed, lost, and alone. Therapy can help you find balance and learn new skills to manage the stress of daily life. I incorporate a number of approaches, tailoring my style to meet each individual client's needs. My repertoire includes approaches such as psycho-education, mindfulness techniques, communication skills, and emotion regulation.
I know that everyone is capable of making choices to find personal fulfillment, and specialize in support for adult and adolescent women. I also specialize in low libido in women which is so often due to other anxieties and traumas; divorce support for those considering separation, going through the legal process or coping with the after effects; and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)for trauma processing as well as any other issues that may be "stuck".
