My Approach to Helping

I have experience working with children and teens experiencing depression, anxiety, attachment injuries, behavioral problems, self harm behaviors, self esteem troubles, suicidal ideation, peer relationship troubles and stage of life issues. I take a holistic and integrative approach, using approaches that best align with my client’s goals. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify strengths and develop skills that empower my clients to create the change they desire in their lives. I partner with the whole family system by offering supplemental parent sessions and family sessions to help parents and caregivers support their child's treatment and reach their goals. When working with children, I use play therapy techniques to encourage expression and to teach skills. I am passionate about working with children and their families to find more helpful ways to navigate life.
