My Approach to Helping
I earned my BA from American Military University and my Master's Degree from Sul Ross State University. I am a US Army Veteran, avid runner, and I love to be outdoors as much as possible. I have counseled children, teens, and adults for nearly a decade and I am passionate about helping others in their most trying times.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered treatment in my practice because I believe that our thoughts drive our emotions and our emotions drive our behaviors. I have found that when using these interventions with my clients, they gain the ability to understand and overcome their unhealthy thought processes and are able to live a more fulfilling life.
