My Approach to Helping
Feeling overwhelmed? Struggling in your relationship? Feeling worried, anxious, or stressed? Experiencing grief or depression? I can help!
There are times in our lives when we face challenging emotional situations. I believe that your problems do not define you and that you can benefit from the support of a person outside of your family and circle of friends. I provide a warm, non-judgmental place to explore and remove obstacles that may be getting in the way of your happiness.
My adult clients like my direct supportive approach and my teen clients say that I am relatable and compassionate.
I work with individuals and couples to addresses relational concerns, anxiety, depression, transition, co-dependency, grief, loss, parenting, and addictions.
I help adolescents tackle their challenges, allowing them to become confident adults with a strong sense of self. I work with teens on issues regarding academic pressures, social pressures, ADHD, substance use, social media, depression, trauma, and anxiety.
Combining my academic knowledge and empathy for each client, I use a technique that includes three main approaches. I utilize attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
