Life poses many challenges. Sometimes those challenges feel overwhelming, and even terrifying. Seeking support and help when you feel scared, confused, or overwhelmed is a courageous act. Congratulations on taking the first step toward change.
I am a licensed California marriage and family therapist. I hold a master's degree in psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy, and have worked in the field for many years. I have helped clients with a number of issues, including anger, addictions, anxiety, stress, depression, family conflict, and relationship challenges.

I am interactive, empathetic, and warm. I treat my clients with sensitivity, compassion, respect, and non-judgment. My interactive style blends psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and family therapies, focusing on acceptance and unconditional positive regard. I partner with you to uncover your strengths and tailor treatment to your needs.

It's courageous to acknowledge the need to change, and to begin working toward a happier and more fulfilling life. If you are prepared to take the first step, I'm here to empower and support you.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psycho-therapy can be helpful by opening up space to explore and discuss experiences that have been repressed, or stuffed down, for years until they begin to "leak" out in other areas of life such as anger, road rage, relationship challenges, health concerns, etc. By talking about these experiences, and giving them a means to be expressed, combined with the opportunity to process the emotions associated with the experience allows the previously repressed feelings to be released in a safe and appropriate manner, which often helps the client to move forward with reclaiming quality of life.
