My Approach to Helping

Are you struggling with life transitions? Starting college or a career, beginning or ending a relationship, affairs and midlife crises, issues relating to sexual orientation, parenting or empty nest issues, menopause, job loss or retirement, aging, existential crises, illness, caring for elderly parents, loss of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, or friend, or dealing with isolation or loneliness?

All of these life issues can bring up feelings of sadness, hopelessness, depression, low self-esteem, worry, and anxiety, and can interfere with your daily functioning. I provide a safe, warm, and nurturing environment, in which you can share your feelings and thoughts with me, without feeling judged or criticized. You will feel a great sense of relief once you are able to talk openly about your feelings.

More Info About My Practice

I work with adult individuals and couples, and from all walks of life. I charge $90 per 50-minute session, and accept cash, checks, credit or debit cards. I do not work with any health insurance companies, but can provide you with a "superbill" which you can submit on your own. I offer a free 30-minute session if you would like to meet me before deciding whether or not we are a good fit for each other.

My office is located in the area South of TMC, near Grant and Swan. Please take a look at my website:

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can provide a sense of relief and support when dealing with and processing issues. Being able to feel safe in a confidential, warm, caring, nurturing and supportive environment can provide you with the opportunity to take a look at yourself honestly and truthfully, without the fear of repercussions or consequences. You will learn how to better cope with your problems, and in an effort to try to change some of your behaviors, you will start to feel better about yourself.
