My Approach to Helping
The primary goal of therapy is to empower you to feel good about your decisions, to make peace with your past and to move forward in a direction that you are comfortable with. A non-judgmental approach in a therapy session makes this all possible and so the building blocks of change and growth can begin. I am committed to the overall well-being of those I work with and look to establish a therapeutic relationship built on trust and honesty. Your story matters and I look forward to taking this journey along side you.

My practice also offers a social skills group for children and a girls group focusing on topics such as self-esteem, peer relationships, and internet safety.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as a psychotherapist is to collaborate with you to establish and meet personal goals in a safe, supportive environment. I aim to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere that fosters an opportunity to explore and express your feelings to make life long changes that you ultimately feel good about. This type of setting encourages honesty and trust between us (client and therapist) and, therefore, the healing process can begin and change can occur.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
If the need for therapy is being contemplated, there is something in your life worth addressing so that you can feel at peace, content, happy. And while change can feel uncomfortable, and even scary, it does offer opportunity. For anyone contemplating therapy, I would encourage you to try; nothing will be lost if an honest effort is made.
