My Approach to Helping

I love being a therapist. I love providing a safe space and helping people find the tools for life transitions and relief from mental health challenges. It is my mission to help those I work with experience inner peace, fulfilling lives, and improved relationships. My diverse training and experience help me provide compassionate support and effective interventions.
I am a person-centered counselor whose therapeutic philosophy is based upon Carl Rogers's 'Unconditional Positive Regard' - support and intervention without judgment.
We are not defined by our past or current behaviors, nor are we destined to relive destructive or unhelpful patterns.
All people contain remarkable capacity for growth.
My approach is a fusion of empirically supported traditional and innovative therapeutic modalities grounded in the brain-body connection, and the brain's innate ability to heal. I believe in the healing powers found within ourselves, our spirituality, and our relationship with the natural world.
