How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychotherapy helps you focus on your strengths not your challenges.
You are welcomed to express how you truly feel without being shut down.
psychotherapy helps you recognize you can be in control of those overwhelming emotions (anger, sadness hopelessness and more).
In psychotherapy you learn and practice skills that can serve you throughout your life because change (adverse and good) do come. Life can throw curveballs anytime.
In psychotherapy you learn about saying YES to you and not every one else.
It is not about selfishness or selflessness.
You learn, practice and gradually focus on self -preservation.
My Role as a Therapist
I have multiple roles as a therapist depending on what would be most helpful to you.
Remember that this is all about you and your needs. Some of these roles include offering suggestions so you have the option of considering alternatives and so make informed choices. I believe all my clients have potential and abilities to heal themselves. I am here to help!
I might sometimes provide expert information based on my education, training and experience with others such as yourself that I have worked with.
I might be an advocate and communicate with other professions, always after due discussion and with your consent. My role also includes offering you a genuine, respectful, and nonjudgmental atmosphere in all our interactions.
What I Usually Need to Know to Help
