My Approach to Helping
I provide mental health services for highly sensitive people, introverts and those struggling with codependency andor burnout. My work is guided by a deep appreciation of the uniqueness of my clients. I am much less concerned about labels and diagnosis, as I am with getting to know you as a human being and making sense of how your experiences have brought you to this point.
I help people become curious about their inner world, develop greater self-compassion, feel more grounded and experience newfound meaning and satisfaction in life.
No matter what you are dealing with, therapy provides you with an opportunity for healing. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is crucial to successful treatment. I am committed to establishing a relationship with you that is based on non-judgment, trust, and safety so we can work towards your goals effectively.
You can expect honesty, respect, and acceptance in each session with me. It is very important to find the right therapist, so if we are not an ideal fit for each other, I will refer you to a new therapist who may be a better fit for your needs.
I am also deeply committed to advocating for and supporting LGBTQ individuals.
