My Approach to Helping
Are you plagued by feelings of sadness or anxiety? Are your thoughts consumed with the "what ifs" in life? What if I could be happier, what if my relationships could be more fulfilling, what if I didn't worry so much? It is human nature to have these questions and it is very courageous to ask for help. In therapy you can learn different coping skills, focusing on your personal strengths in order to achieve more balance and happiness in your life. There is hope and you deserve to feel better. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we can work together to help you achieve your goals.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
As a Clinical Psychologist, my training and experience is very broad. I have many years of experience working with issues related to anxiety, depression, stress and life transitions. I have additional training in grief and loss along with dealing with chronic or terminal illness. I also work with adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety and low self esteem.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
I believe that the decision to start therapy takes strength and courage. As a clinical psychologist, I am in awe of the courage that people demonstrate by reaching out and asking for help. There is no weakness in admitting that you need some guidance to help you along your journey.
