My Approach to Helping
As a holistic psychotherapist, I believe that every client should have the opportunity of a wellness journey tailored to them. I combine approaches from my specialty areas of art therapy, mindfulness, and positively-focused talk therapy, and I draw from this mind-body-spirit perspective to meet each individual's needs. This means some clients may work heavily with art, while others never touch a single art supply. I enjoy helping people who have a vision for a better life and a desire to get there, but who have come up against road blocks in life and need help moving through those. I help people create fulfilling, intentional lives while leaving behind the negative beliefs that no longer serve them, and healing old wounds. Typically, clients move through their work more quickly with me than they may with other therapists, as I gently challenge them to commit to the changes they choose to make in bettering their own lives.
