Experienced as a child, teen, and young adult therapist who works with those struggling with anxiety and depression to find a place of peace as well as control in their lives Providing treatment for anxiety in children with the use of play therapy, expressive art, skill building, and relationship building. I also provide treatment for teen depression by using talk therapy, skill building, art, & self-esteem skill building. My patients walk away from therapy with me feeling connected to others, relief from their worry and depressive symptoms, as well as having a better sense of self. They also feel contentment, in control of where they are headed and a better outlook on life.

My office provides a welcoming environment from the moment you step inside my door into the waiting room with a hot cocoa machine and marshmallows to the kids table with animals sitting on it ready to play. My office is kid friendly & nothing is really off limits for them to explore. With the belief in giving children & young adults the opportunity to express themselves in their own unique way, is why I offer so many different techniques in counseling because not every person learns the same way in therapy. My goal is to help every person that walks through my door become a better version of themselves & to have them leave with more coping strategies, have a clearer sense of who they are and feeling better.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
Having struggled with anxiety as a child then depression as an adult, I understand what it's like to suffer with the agony of the symptoms. I can understand the struggles that you're going through and how overwhelmed you feel most days. I know some days are better than others but those days aren't very often and that's why you're here. I can help you.
