My Approach to Helping
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree from Ryerson University and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Growing up as a competitive dancer allowed me to recognize from a young age the importance of self-care and building a lifestyle that places value on prioritizing both mental and physical health. In my personal time I value reading, group fitness, time outdoors, and time with family and friends.
In my practice, I welcome the opportunity to work with clients of all ages. I provide therapy to individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, family dynamics, life stress, ADHD. I take an integrative approach pulling from acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I strive to create a safe space for clients to practice self-reflection and develop insight and coping strategies for making positive and long-lasting change.
