My Approach to Helping
As a therapist with a background of competing in video games and sports, I understand the drive to be the best version of yourself. Even outside of sports and games, I understand the determination to be successful career-wise. While the highs that can come from success and achievement can feel glorious, there are also a variety of mental hurdles that can come with a competitive drive, ranging from managing "imposter syndrome" to battling perfectionist tendencies that result in enormous pressure and disappointment. This is without mention of struggles of a work-life-home balance, nor talk of deeply rooted negative self-esteem that often goes hand-in-hand with a high ego. Through my therapeutic approaches, I can help you unpack distorted thoughts and beliefs that hinder you as you strive for success in all areas of your life.
