My Approach to Helping
The most important part of therapy is establishing a solid trusting relationship where you feel safe. The first thing we will do is talk about what has led you to me and what you would like to change about your situation. I will do everything I can to find a deep understanding of who you are, where you struggle, your strengths, and most importantly, your goals.
I love working with individual and relational clients and I believe that problems do not exist within a person, but between people. I use a variety of the most current and heavily-researched methods and techniques such as EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and solution-focused behavioral therapy to help with a wide range of issues.
No matter what brought you to me, I am here to help you get through it. I am not here to judge or make assumptions about you. Everybody has a place in the world and I want to help you find your place and live your best life.
