I specialize in treatment for individuals and couples who have suffered neglect/abuse or other traumas, and for people with depression and/or anxiety. I help individuals and couples with relationship issues, or who seek meaningful change and personal growth. I also counsel people who encounter difficulties working through grief. I support people with disabilities or chronic illness, and their caregivers.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
The purpose of psychotherapy is to activate your strengths to overcome obstacles, relieve distress, and support personal growth. Effective psychotherapy is grounded in a collaborative relationship where warmth and compassion open up possibilities for recovery and growth.
