My Approach to Helping

"Unconditional positive regard is the cornerstone of what we do". Modeled after psychology Carl Rodgers, we practice "person-centered" counseling, in which you are in charge and we will listen as you become empowered and stronger in your journey towards wholeness and personal growth.

We believe in the inner goodness of each person and will work with you to help you reach your full potential; whether it is to walk with you to heal from past wounds, (clinical counseling) or to look with you into your present and help you plan how to grow into the amazing person that you are meant to be. (Life Coaching).

We see all sorts of folks, people who are working through addictions, trauma, folks with anxiety, depression, bereavement, marriage counseling, drugsalcohol recovery, Christian Counseling, LGBQT persons, people suffering from Borderline Personality disorder, folks with current or pending legal charges, sexual issues, open children and youth cases, and nearly everything in-between.

Our clients range in income from being homeless and jobless to making over $300k a year. We also do a good bit of work helping people who are just getting out of confinement learn how to get their life back together and to help reduce their risk of recidivism.

We do clinical counseling, job coaching, financial education, and can help with reunificationmediation when families struggle to get along.

we see folks of many different races, religions, non-religious, and will give you a judgment-free environment in which you can heal and grow.

We are in-network with 25 different insurances, have four therapists, and three interns, which will allow affordable services for most. We offer a free consultation and offer morning, evening, and weekend hours. We have some immediate openings for new clients and have two office locations; Quakertown, PA,and Bally, PA

We also will be offering group sessions starting this July.

More Info About My Practice

We are an existing non-profit and offer a wide range of private, family, and group counseling services. We also do Life Coaching as well for those who want help in reaching their "full potential".

We are seeing a lot of couples and offer marriage counseling, family-style counseling for teenagers to help improve parent-child relationships.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am very good at helping you get to core issues and look at things in a new and non-threatening way, so that you can no longer feel "stuck". I am good with folks with issues of anger management, bereavement, marriage issues, anxiety, depression, addictions, and emotional issues.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

One of the things that I love about being a therapist is training and mentoring other staff and interns. We often do joint sessions. We often work as a team, and we enjoy working with each other and growing together. Although some clients may feel uneasy with this format at first, they consistently report that they enjoy the benifit of these sessions and we try to use the concept of shadowing and co-therapy whenever possible, as it helps provide a higher level of service to the client and keeps the therapist sharp as well.

My Role as a Therapist

We will provide encouragement and feedback as you grow and learn how to heal and become the you that you were always meant to be.

We also are always looking for interns, and if you have a master's degree in counseling, feel free to email us if you would like to find out more about some of the opportunities that may be available to you.
